Hillary gained construction industry experience from the “outside in” by managing audit engagements, assisting clients with monthly/quarterly close, and leading several consulting engagements. After 5+ years in public accounting, Hillary felt it was time to learn the inner workings of the industry, and became regional controller of a commercial electrical contractor. “Working for a subcontractor certainly posed its challenges, but it allowed me to see the intricacies of a construction project from start to finish. I enjoyed being part of a specialty trade who was one piece of a giant puzzle”. Hillary recently joined GGC as controller and so far, she has loved being part of the team who assembles the puzzle. “Looking at a finished project and knowing that GGC has orchestrated such an impressive product is very cool and a testament to the dedication our people have”. Outside of the office, Hillary enjoys golfing, testing her skills in the kitchen, and visiting her family in Ohio.
